Five lectures attended by over 200 doctors that Jung gave in 1935 to the Institute of Medical Psychology (Tavistock) in London. Each lecture concludes with a question and answer session  who were present.

The print version retains Jung's extremely clear verbal style by explain his views on the structure of the mind, psychological types, the personal and collective unconscious and, lastly, of his archetypal theory and transference. In detail, he explain both a case of dream interpretation and includes one of the few accounts of his way of working with waking fantasy images which he called "active imagination" and the role played by transference in analytic therapy."

"This, surely, is the most lucid, simple and orderly introduction to the basic principles and methods of the Jungian science of the psyche that has yet been offered to the public." -- Joseph Campbell, Book World
